Overview of possible errors pre- and post connection, and what to do about them
This page gives an overview of possible errors that can occur when a client attempts to give access to Leadsie.
While errors are rare (<5%), they can occur in different circumstances, especially for Facebook. Found an error that is not documented or need help? Get in touch using the chat box or via email.
1) Before granting connection (Select Assets Page)

Facebook & Google | You have not given full permissions and may experience some errors when connecting. | It appears you have not given the Leadsie app all permissions that we require. We can only share the assets if you give our Facebook/Google application all these permissions. Remember that we will never make any changes without your explicit permission, and you can revoke the access of our application anytime after granting access.To solve this problem, hit disconnect at the top, then log in again. |
You need to enable 2 Factor Authentication on your account to share [name of your assets] | In order to share ad accounts in particular, Facebook requires enabling 2-Factor authentication. You can activate it here. | |
You don't have permissions to share [name of assets]. Please either get Manage permissions or share this access link with an admin of the asset / Please either get promoted to admin or share this access link with an admin of the business | You don’t have admin rights for the Facebook assets you’re attempting to share. 2) After granting access (Access sharing failed)

Google Ads | Bad Request | This error usually indicates that access could not be shared with the email address of your agency because the agency’s email domain has not been added to the list of approved domains. Try to give access again and follow the instructions given to add the domain to your list of allowed domains. |
Google Ads | Request contains an invalid argument. Client is already linked to too many managers. | Your Google Ad account is already connected to many manager accounts. Please remove some manager accounts in order to initiate this connection. Go to your Google Ads Access settings to do that. |
Google Ads | Request contains an invalid argument. Email address doesn't conform to the email domain policy.
