How to share access to Facebook Ad Accounts

Unable to share your Facebook Ad Account through Leadsie?


Possible reasons are

A. You don’t have an Ad Account yet

B. You have an Ad Account, but it is not on your Business Manager

C. You are not an admin of the Ad Account 


If you don’t have an Ad Account (A), you first need to create a Business Manager

  1. Go to the request link that your agency sent you. Click "Create a new Business Manager, Ad Account or other assets"


  1. Select ‘Create New Business Manager’

  1. Define the account details

  1. Continue with creating Ad Account

  1. Complete your Ad Account setup

  1. Add a payment method & verify your email
  2. You will be redirected to the request page, which has your newly created assets pre-populated.
  3. Follow the steps to Share the Ad Account with your Agency

If you have an Ad Account, but it is in a different Business Manager (B)

  1. Go to the Ad Account section of your Business Manager and select "Add an ad account".
  2. Add your ad account by inserting the ad account ID (Here's how to find your ad account ID)

You are not an admin of the Ad Account (C)

Please ensure that you have admin rights for the Facebook Ad Account you're attempting to share. If you don't, you'll need to obtain these permissions or share the link with an admin.


To share your ad account with your agency, you can simply go back to the Leadsie link your agency/partner sent you. You will be able to select the ad account now.
