Send Leadsie notifications to Microsoft Teams

Last updated: 20 August 2025

What you'll get: Every new Leadsie access update appears as a post in your Teams channel.

How it works (quick concept)

Each Teams channel has its own email address. Add that address as a recipient in your Leadsie notification settings; new Leadsie notifications will post to the channel.

Note: Your IT admin must have Email integration enabled for Teams channels.

Step 1 — Get your channel’s email address in Teams

  1. In Teams (desktop or web), open the target channel.
  2. Next to the channel name, select More options (…)Get email address.
  3. Copy the address. Optional: choose Advanced settings to control who can send to the channel (owners/admins only).

Step 2 — Add the address in Leadsie

  1. In Leadsie, open Standard Request settings or edit the specific Custom Request.
  2. Find the Notifications section (where you list email recipients).
  3. Paste the Teams channel email address alongside your usual recipients.
  4. Click Save.

FAQs

We don’t see “Get email address.” Why?

Your organization may have disabled channel email. Ask IT to enable Email integration in the Teams admin settings.

Who can send to the channel?

Channel owners/admins can restrict senders (anyone, only members, or specific domains) via Advanced settings.

Any email limits?

Yes. Teams may limit inline images, number/size of attachments, and block emails sent via distribution lists.

Troubleshooting

  • Emails don’t arrive: Confirm the feature is enabled by IT and that Leadsie’s sender domain is allowed by your channel’s restrictions.
  • Attachment issues: Large or numerous attachments may be blocked; use the View original email link in Teams to see full details.
